The following information is collected by ReportComplaint.com:
- Report Code - This code is collected so that we send the report to the right company. This code provides no individual employee information. The same code is used by all employees of your company. You receive this code by selecting Anonymous Report under Hotline tab after logging into HotlinkHR at your company. You enter this code where requested on the home page of ReportComplaint.com, to begin a complaint.
- Report - Your complaint report is shared with your company without any individual identification. Information that would identify you as an individual is not collected or stored. Your report is identified only as coming from an anonymous employee of your company. The report is accessed through HotlinkHR only by company designated manager(s).
- Response Code - This code is unique to the response given by your company to you. It ensures that only you have access to the company's response. This response code is given to you upon completion of a complaint report. It is not shared with your company. You use this code in order to see the responses from your company.
- Response - The response from your company is recorded for your access. Access is limited to 60 days. You access the response by entering the Response Code where requested on the home page of ReportComplaint.com.
User Choices for Reports and Responses
ReportComplaint.com is only used as an integrated part of HotlinkHR. Companies using HotlinkHR for reporting and responding to complaints provide their employees with two options.
- The first option, Confidential Report, does not use ReportComplaint.com. It identifies the employee that is making the report and the company has the responsibility to share the information only on a strict need to know basis.
- Anonymous Report is the second option. ReportComplaint.com is used by an employee to file a report of complaint and receive a response without being identified beyond being an employee of the company.
Making Corrections, Clarifications or Additions to a Previously Filed Report
In as much as your filed report contains no individual identification beyond being an employee of your company, the only way to correct, clarify or add to a previously filed report is to submit a new report.
Third Party Collection of Information
ReportComplaint.com is an integrated part of HotlinkHR. HotlinkHR provides the interface for transmitting and viewing reports and responses as described in the section above. No other information is collected for or shared with HotlinkHR. No information is shared with other third parties except as may be required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site. As is also noted above, no information is collected about your report or response that would identify you as an individual beyond being an employee of your company.
Cookies
ReportComplaint.com does not collect or generate cookies. Cookies are small data files that websites can write to your hard drive when you visit them. Once written, the cookie can only be accessed by the site that originally created it (ie. our site cannot read cookies set by another site you have visited). Even though the proper use of cookies may not compromise your privacy, ReportComplaint.com does not collect or generate cookies.
Security
ReportComplaint.com has extensive security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information stored in our database. These measures include the use of Secure Socket Layer with 128-bit encryption for transmission of report codes, reports, response codes and responses.
